EPDM – Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber
EPDM is a synthetic rubber, based on ethylene-propylene and a third monomer, diene, which enables sulphur crosslinking.
Due to its chemical structure, it features a particular resistance to water and steam, and is suitable for environments with high ozone.
For these reasons it is ideal for:
- Water up to boiling point
- Steam
- Special hydraulic systems such as braking systems
- Ozone
- Weathering
- Alkalis
- Polar solvents at room temperature
- Temperature ranges between -50°C and 150°C
Prefix Code:- E7
Hardness:- 70 ± 5 duro shore A
Colour:- Black
Temperature Range:- -40ºC to +130ºC
