This DHW style double acting piston seal is a cost-effective seal with long and efficient seal life. Consisting of a nitrile rubber sealing element and two acetal anti-extrusion rings, under pressure, this seal exerts a wedge action on the anti-extrusions rings and minimises the potential for extrusion of the seal. This seal contains wear rings on either side for extra support and guidance for the piston.
